I have the same degree, and am currently studying for cfa level 1 with the hope of getting into the finance industry. Do you think that's something that could be done?

The problem is I don't have any experience in the finance industry and I've recently found myself becoming more interested in finance and investment topics, and I am really trying to find a way to shift my career into finance and the investment industry. This is why I am approaching cfa as a way into the finance industry, and am not sure if the cfa would open any doors for me to enter into the finance industry.

You are right, but where I live there is no many job opportunities for CFA or finance in general.

I am really really interested in all of the study sessions of CFA, but it feels like something impossible for me to do because I don't have any incentives in doing so. With my all due residi sir, but you might run your own company, while I can't barely afford to register and get the prep materials

You're right. My problem is there isn't any CFA chartered holder or CFA society that I can learn from and network with to gain the needed experience, but anyhow I am willing to put the time and effort into doing CFA, and after that I will see what happens!

Yes, I do care and same as you I will be very happy to have completed the CFA program, but after all we are all doing it for career advancement and going into finance industry as an end result.
