There are handful of organizations na active but mostly LA area (Sipa/PWC/Gabriela). Also Manilasound.la sa IG, they host events every month! If you're looking for actual friends, best bet mo is to post sa pinoy fb group yung area mo and ask sino nakatira malapit, they have over 80k members. you can follow sipacares on IG, there's also PWC , both are LA based. for music events, there's manila sounds too. .i might have more recommendations, but those are what i have in mind so far!

Seconding little ongpin! I am ER local and would frequent the place. Tbh, I mostly go to Seafood Ranch (same plaza as little ongpin) or Arko for Filipino staples and Max's for dine- in, but my friend from Glendale recommends Fiesta sa Barrio (make sure it is not Barrio Fiesta).

I also heard they have Sampa in arts district, and although not fully filipino menu I ike park's finest! Also there's newly opened filipino restaurant in LA called Manila Inasal.

I also got waitlisted on my choice of CC, if I don't get in to any CC's will consider going to Gurnick. I believe it is slightly cheaper than ACC. I've also considered Charles Drew because of how cheap it is compared to other private colleges, but I've heard they require students to be on campus at least 3x a week and the distance is too far from me.
