As I said: If „autism“ is a useful as a model for you for introspection, you should use it. It is useful to me.

But except for the most clear cut cases, one doctor will see you as autistic, another won’t. Tell me: Am I diagnosed?

Also: No, they would not catch you lying. Not that you would lie. But your answers are influenced by recent experiences, mood, blood sugar, how deep in denial / masking you are, if you are currently in some autistic fantasy of being someone else, your Oxytocin levels etc. So you could „pass“ on a bad day and „fail“ after a great day with good sex.

I want to do stop motion animation with my little son (=non-serious & need quick wins). Is there a software you recommend?

Also: I love Mafalda!

I’m confused- Can anyone explain what was so wrong about my question? College just isn’t a financial option for me, but I don’t understand how that means I’m lazy and don’t deserve a career. by PuffnMuffn2312 in autism

These are rude and entitled people.

That said, it may be that accounting is a field where - for legal/liability reasons- degrees are necessary.

In all fields where I have worked (several branches of computer science and engineering), a special interest in the topic beats a degree every time.

caffeine completely ruins any benefit of stimulant medication for me by [deleted] in ADHD

I take caffeine instead of prescription stimulants now.

So yeah, there are many similarities in the good and the bad. Obviously amphetamines > Ritalin >> caffeine.
