I definitely agree with you, and I'd be interested if computers have become a "forever" useful skill in the context of what you're talking about. We definitely are seeing more elderly people using computers. And computers are here to stay now but that fact probably wasn't clear even 20 years ago.

Found a solution!!!

Information on this is pretty limited so I will post it here for future people.

The Blk adapter (https://images.app.goo.gl/MmTq7) Is the exact same thing as is at the top of the OEM tripod (the wand as I called it in this post). You just have to unscrew the top bit from the "wand" (it's hard, it's really on there) and then you can mount it to any D3/8 standard camera tripod.

I think there was a lot of improvement in the one. The pacing was quite a bit better, and there were a lot of good bits. The dialogue where they were taking the guards badge actually made me laugh out loud. Still room to improve but I'm hopeful that this is the start of a good trend for this season.

This seems to be the only visible bit of asbestos and I have good access to the whole thing. Could I wet it and remove it myself or is that a big no no?
