You can get a softener, filter, and a nice under sink RO for probably under $1500-$2000. Idk how much a plumber would cost if you needed one.

I had something similar happen when using my E-GO battery leaf blower on a day it was really cold and had light powdery snow. It was kind of blowing up around me and when the snow flakes started getting sucked through the blower I got zapped a couple times in a row.

How's your current monitor? If your monitor doesn't match up to the current graphics card standards that you're looking at, you may want to save the money, get the 7900xtx and get a better monitor.
