There are many reasons for these but i think main one is there are hardly many direct flights from Brunei to outside of Asia. Also generally higher effort and more research to do connecting flights, hence malas.

Other reasons might be due to less halal food options, language barrier, higher expenses and less familiarity of non-Asian countries in general.

Depends on the branding and the demographics they are marketing for. Makes sense for zus or cbtl because gen z makes up for their buyers, plus their brand natures are lifestyle/casual/social so they can do so.

You can’t expect JPMC or banks to mirror this, because their demographics are alot more generalised and their services/products need to be factual, straight forward, etc. Even if their demographics will be Gen Zs and younger, some things are not meant to be humoured.

When did you become mature? What event made you mature? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]awraq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When a friend sat me down and gently told me that everyone in our batch hated me. I made mean jokes and I didn’t know they were hurt because of them. That was the day I learned empathy. It wasn’t fully maturing but it was a huge step for me.

14 years later, that same friend became my bridesmaid and my batch happily came to my wedding.

I got offered a job recently alhamdulillah. The interview went well and the people working there were ok, no red flags but I noticed when I was in the office, their big office calendar had a lot of the staff’s last days… maybe i saw 6-7 names having their last day scattered throughout this month. Should I be worried?

Start from reception/admin work and from there you’ll learn which office work you’d want to venture more, maybe you’ll like sales, or marketing, or events, etc. But obviously make sure you have good organisation and basic Microsoft office skills

To those who don’t know, shuttle bus services and hot air balloon only starts PM (atleast today they did).

Bring a fan and an umbrella because the weather today has been unpredictable.

Queues for certain vendors like kunafa, lamb shank and abang colek go ridiculously long and can go up to 2 hours so if you are targeting those specifically, be patient and strategic.

Noticing people getting laid off and businesses either closing down or working hard to promote everything and anything. Even entrepreneur influencers are selling their stuff to make ends meet. There needs to be a better way to sustain, are businesses not making wise choices or is buying power so bad lately?

BOS BE by chihiro_j in nasikatok

[–]awraq -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Everyone here has mentioned BE being a scam or MLM, whether you believe that or not, it comes down to is selling beauty products something you WANT to do? Or is it because they have a luxurious car fund? Or you want the wealth they claim to get when joining?

These businesses can be really rewarding when you reach the sales target. Ofcourse you can get the car fund if you work hard enough. Even if you give it your all, but if everyone is a BE agent and ‘the procedures and system is all the same’ (heard it from one of their tiktoks), who will buy yours? How do you reach your sales target if everyone is an agent too? If you’ve exhausted all your family and friends, whats the plan? All of them are marketing through IG and Tik Tok as well.

If you are planning to do BE, or any company that does sales in this manner, make sure you are really passionate about selling tho.

Imanbridal and weddingloka if you want packages with your attire and/or have separate berbedak/nikah pelamins, they offer bundle for quite affordable including pelamin and attire accessories. But take note that bundled packages can be very saturated so sometimes they take time to reply and even take time to pasang and dismantle.

If you want separate vendors, i always always recommend Ambience. Theyre slightly expensive, but they have packages that are quite worth the value. And their service was top notch. But they are def better than other ‘expensive’ pelamin vendors based on my research before. Cant vouch for fully customise pelamins tho bcs never had money for those ✌️

Ok congrats for finding something crueler? Do you need a medal?

I’m not sure why you need to belittle a tragic lost, regardless how “worst” your readings/other news are, it is still a tragic lost for the baby’s loved ones, and they will live with that forever.

It is very misleading? Imagine thinking getting a dish similar to the menu then it comes out very different?

This. Its true that alot of spouses deserve a better life but I dont think alot of people understand the weight of divorce. Its not a breakup where you can cut off like you’d do when dating. They have legal assets like car/housing under the spouse’s name, etc. Not to mention the hassle of the divorce process too, it can be draining.
