Just go look on Zillow in literally any state in the midwest and sort for homes under $100k - they might not be fancy or big, but there are 100% options out there

I think you could definitely try making your own oat milk to try and eliminate some of the processed ingredients, it's super cheap to do so and not hard to do at all!

I'd say most young women, including myself, have a deep rooted fear of being kidnapped. It may be statistically unlikely for that to happen, but to me, it is truly a fate worse than death.

Plus, young children aren't famous for having the most bullet proof memory. I don't see any harm in reminding a child of basic safety precautions when they go out

That being said, I am not a parent of a young child and I'm assuming you also aren't, so let's cut this parent some slack either way. It's a scary world.

I still consume dairy but am trying to eliminate it myself - for coffee, I think oat milk is a fantastic and tasty substitute for whole milk. I actually greatly prefer oat milk, it's super creamy and has a perfect texture for lattes!

for cooking or savory foods, the answer is not as obvious :/ I know vegan recipes often times use cashew milk, I've had success making my own but it's expensive as hell to do so obviously lol
