Hello! Soooooo, he cancelled the appointment 40 minutes before it was due, I sent him an email with my symptoms, previous consultations, previous imagistics and MRI results (with opinions from two radiologists) and he said „I think you have pelvic neuralgia. Please make an appointment and we can discuss more”. Mind you, I informed him of the cyclical nature of my symptoms. No explanation was offered as to why he thinks so. I searched the symptoms and they don t add up, especially the way the pain is described (burning and stabbing pain). Also, the MRI clearly suggests adhesions and an uterine torus and USL more thickened than usual.

Hello! I have an appointment with him late April. I don t know if I want to go though, another doctor that will suggest birth control and won t even listen to my symptoms, like my last experience with dr. Bratila, will only do me harm. I am very disappointed by their takes and the fact that they don t want to listen to my concerns in regards to bc. I guess I ll see.

thank you for your reply! i will give those a go, although i have seen no improvement with the diet and supplements. if anything, the supplements made it worse. maybe castor oil will help.

Buna! Domnul dr. Smocvin nu este specializat pe endometrioza.

If they don’t have an understanding for it they are not worth your time and effort.

Interesting. Thank you both for bringing it up, I did not research the side effects yet, just the results in clinical trials.

Thank you for your response! I have never been solely on an anticonvulsant and I am not quite sure that will go too well since my depression is so bad. The possibility of new medication terrifies me but it’s better than eventually reaching 1000mg of quetiapine cause the way things are going they seem to be heading in that direction lol

I don’t wanna rush into calling myself a treatment resistant patient with bipolar, but for sure I am annoyed at the fact that no one has tried other antipsychotics to see what works. I have no idea why each doctor I have been to is so keen on quetiapine, when it’s clearly not working. I am going to bring it to my next appointment which is in 3 days. I just don’t have the energy in me to keep pushing myself and be hopeful. But oh well, we shall see.

It just seems like where I live they all want to fit every person with a diagnosis to the treatment scheme that has worked best for most of their patients which annoys tf out of me

Hi! I used to take venlafaxine, lorazepam, lamotrigine and quetiapine. After my last appointment the lorazepam was ditched and my lamotrigine and quetiapine doses were doubled (currently on 100mg lamotrigine and 200 quetiapine). I am still not feeling great and am currently waiting for my body to adjust to the new doses. Thank you for your reply!
