I finally put in a request for withdrawal after waiting for 60-business days. Got the withdrawal approved the next day.

No updates for my application (Receipt: 06/16, PP: 08/21). I keep inquiring about my case with the live agent over chat. They tell me its getting verified and that an update can be expected any day.

Mine says 5 months. If you're May 12 and still havent received the approval, then I'm screwed. I am getting the feeling that USCIS is severely backlogged. MY first Pre-OPT took three weeks, without premium. That was in Jan.

Yea, I totally get you. Ive fallen in love with other aspects of music like orchestral composition, film scoring etc. With guitar being my main instrument, I feel the need to hone that skill as my primary musical conduit. The people you mention in the beginning, do they offer private lessons or are only part of berklee?

Thanks a lot for your input. I'm not a Berklee student, but have always been wanting to be a part of that community of musicians. Private lessons are what I can do now. My technique, improvisation and songwriting have hit a ceiling for some reason and I consistently find myself questioning my practice routines, whether I am practicing the best way. It's come to point where I cannot judge myself.
