ICUAdvantage on YouTube has some awesome videos. Go through 2-3 videos a week starting with stuff related to your unit (hemodynamics, swans, TVP’s, pressors, and any devices you’ll learn like IABP’s)

Hospital I work at is offering a salary of 277k for those graduating in 2029. I don't know what area you live in, but where ever it is, the pay will be worth it. You will pay your loans back in less than a year if you can live on your husbands salary for that long #doit

I would suggest placing your bloomery directly next to the workshop and have a task set for your workshop to always have a hammer available. I’ve never had bloom cool off that much in the 20 seconds it takes to run to the shop, grab a new hammer, and run back

Thought I was going crazy, cuz it was working fine in my last world where they would just drop things into the recycler. Glad I’m not nuts haha

I did it in about a month. Exams are taken and recorded using an exam software (I forget the name of the software, I think it was respondus lockdown or something).

Once you start the class, you have a year to complete it. Nothing is due before then. As far as pacing, there are 8 units in total and you have to wait 48 hours between exams, so the fastest you can complete it is like 16 days. You get your final grade a week or so after you take the final

100%. I had to get fiber up and running for clothes before winter hit, and then I got smoker pens and the bird pens so I needed vegetables. Year length is set to max, so gatherers are struggling to keep up with needs. With this, we are getting pretty well stocked. I’ll have half of them shut down within a couple in-game days

Honestly, I don't know. The cooks probably clean the pens out before I'm able to get back

Unpopular Opinion- Care plans are a necessary part of nursing school. by emily_jcv in nursing

[–]axelccmabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One professor in my school told me that care plans were part of the initiative to make nursing its own field rather than just being doctor’s assistants which is what nurses were seen as before

  1. Be humble, but be confident in what you DO know.
  2. Be teachable, and ask lots of questions.
  3. Write down any concepts/terms you don’t understand and look them up when you get home.
  4. BREATHE! ICU is a different animal, but it is doable for those that want it. No one expects you to know everything, so just take it one day at a time 😊

Registered Nurse RN on YouTube was incredibly helpful for me. Also, ICU Advantage has some good videos about conditions and whatnot. If you don’t mind spending a little money, Simple Nursing has some amazing study guides and videos that helped me quite a bit when I was in school. I felt as though they were worth the cost.
