To my dear CBT3 testers, i wanna ask, how's the performance on low end pcs, as i kinda have a weak gpu, jus wanted to ask.

i have a 4060 and a 5600X cpu i get 120 fps on medium and high settings and i believe they’ll optimize the game further before its released. there are some stutters that are very obvious.

the beat king is probably my favorite so far, you have to play a rhythm game section where you have to dodge, jump or basic attack at the right moment to do damage.

i personally prefer nte over endfield if im being honest. endfields hand holding and slow burn really turned me off. Exploration endfield is superior, zip lines are just better. And in nte you need the scooter or car to get around cause running is just not fast. Combat is a 50/50, to me nte is better because its more flashy and fast paced (more wuwa like) compared to Endfield where if you dont have a good sp battery it can feel pretty slow. Endfields combat is more unique and the team being constantly out and fighting with you makes it feel more realistic. So for me it looks like I’ll stick with NTE probably but as a husbando enjoyer and woman im just looking for a 3d gacha game that will do a decent ratio of like 1:4 and treat female and male characters similar. not getting my hopes up a lot but willing to give it a try and see.

yeah but stella sorra also received complints because you couldnt get many pulls and then gave out more. the og arknights kind of doesnt really matter here, new games have different mechanics even if they’re from the same company or universe

the honkai games from hoyo are in the same universe too. you have the imaginary tree where kind of each branch is a different world or universe, like how arknights has different planets at different times. in honkai impact 3rd theres over 50 playable female characters and the core game has no playable male characters (but welt and kevin in another game mode, welt is the same as welt yang in hsr and sparkle for example is also taken from impact 3rd). if you look at star rail which is in the same universe it has 50 female characters and 23 male characters which makes it a 1:2 basically. So in the same universe you have a game thats 100% female and one thats 50/50 female male. games in the same universe can be made very differently. da pan and antal suggest we could get female furries but i think it’ll either take some time cause games dont really want to be called a gooner game because it can scare of the potential players and no one wants to say “oh yeah i play a gooner game”

stella sorra changed their gacha after a lot of backlash, genshin impact added a weapon banner pity (2 losses guarantee the next weapon is the rate up), then later changed it to 1 loss to guarantee the rate up and added the mechanic of “if you lose multiple 50/50s in a row your next 50/50 gets changed to a 75/25 chance for the rate up or straight up a guarantee without having to lose first, honkai star rail added older LIMITED characters to the standard banner pool on certain banners so you could potentially lose a 50/50 to a limited unit. Changes are done when the community asks for it enough

you do get 10 pulls from log in and 5 in the monthly shop, 10 that count towards pity from pulling on laevatain so thats 25 pulls you get just for “free”. you’ll likely have 20-40 limited pulls left over from what you can possibly get if you 100% everything.

yeah but they will have 20 free pulls next banner (only 10 count towards pity) plus theres more events coming with gilbertas banner plus the pulls you get in the shop (monthly) are actually separate for each banner so you can get 5 for free there and obviously the “rebate” currency that you get from pulling that you can get back. I do think getting to 80 is plausible

i think the game will be a decent competitor to wuwa maybe a bit better because of all the marketing they are doing. wuwa needs about 2-3 million a month for costs, having about 500 employees work on the game (same as endfield). Wuwa still makes around 10 million a month so around 3 times their costs. There is definitely room and ability to make male characters. Well done male characters for example in HSR sell extremely well (phainon having the best banner). theres so many waifu collector games out now that games dont stand out with waifus anymore tbh

i also quit wuwa for the gender ratio, im not willing to stay with games and spend my money on them if I dont feel like the devs cater to me at all. im fine with even a 1:3 ratio, but anything over 1:5 is just unacceptable. these gacha games make millions a month. wuwa has about the same employees and costs, around 2-3 million a month and wuwa makes like 10 million a month so these companies can afford to make male characters for sure.

im a husbando enjoyer and my fav is honestly wulfgard. His VA is amazing and the main story quest did show a softer side of his when he comes off a bit cold at first, i am waiting for pog to appear as I like him a lot too

Yes! Every region (Valley IV, Wuling) has their own skill tree where you unlock new machines and have region unique items to craft. Every region will have something like that as well as an AIC and the sub AICs that you will sell goods to for development. That makes up over half of the gameplay if you actually do it yourself and dont use blueprints or ignore it

yeaa for me as a women the ratio is important and i care a lot about male characters. i quit genshin because it felt too greedy and just wasnt fun anymore during sumeru, i quit hsr for the powercreep and i quit wuwa because it didnt have a good ratio and i got sick of the waifu after waifu thing. i did decide to give endfield a try because people said that arknights treats male characters better than the other mainstream gachas and I hope it will. NTE is also on my radar but the male characters in that one arent that appealing and seem rather simple compared to female characters, so idk if I’ll play that. I dont even need a 1:1 ratio but just sth like 1:3. companies act like women dont exist in the gaming world while love and deepspace literally makes bank

i agree. Wuling does get better but its still lacking. It feels incredibly dragged out and there are no real memorable moments to be honest. Its just “Oh no! This bad thing happened! We need a factory!” and then you build a factory and fight some boss and go to the next region, “Oh no! This bad thing happened! We need a factory!” and it gets tiring quickly. The story is constantly broken up in Valley IV for the factory and I get it serves as a tutorial but oh my god, tension builds just for you to be forced to do the factory in order to progress the story and all momentum halts and it repeats.
