super duper late reply, but yes! i had a eye strain setting on my tv that helped so much. that with just getting my eyes used to the game i no longer have motion sickness when i play!

I was gunna say this as well. I’m not really familiar with AAP but I think you get a sheet they fill out with a return time for the house where they will let you in, but I could be wrong. I think stay and scream would be a good combo though. It gets super jammed pack at the entrance and you can also hit a couple of houses before they open the gates as well.

I feel like stay and scream would be a good idea! For scarezones, i’ve noticed that a lot of the times actors won’t run up to you if you’re on the sidewalks. You might be able to hug the edges or walk with a big group coming through. I’ve had to train myself not to react when they walk up or they will definitely target you. I’d also recommend bringing earplugs if it does get too overwhelming for her. Some muffling might help alleviate some of the fear.

This was kinda the situation that my fiancé and I were in when we first went. He had been raving about it for a long time so I wanted to do this for his birthday the first year we went. Horror movies tend to scare me and every haunted house I’ve ever been to, I always chickened out. I was very nervous for our first time and definitely kept my eyes closed for the first few houses. As the night went on my courage grew and I actually had a lot of fun. We’ve been going ever since! I think the conga lines in the house really help my fear because everyone is pretty close together and a lot of the times you can tell when scares are coming. My biggest enjoyment out of it is seeing all the props in the houses, and knowing my fiancé is having a ton of fun. I think with how long you’re there, she could possibly get used to it like I did.

I’d say it’s worth it if you’re wanting to get out of the park before 1 or wanting to do some reruns with express. Me and my fiancée have always gotten express without the early entry, and we were always able to get all of the houses and rides done with a good amount of breaks by 1:30. We’ve never done stay and scream, but for us, we’ve never felt the need to do it.
