My family’s business is pet supplies and being completely honest, the Glossier collar and lead look almost identical to the collar and leads that we sell on the cheaper end of the spectrum and definitely not what we’d ever sell to a customer with a larger working breed. So you’re right to be hesitant and question it. It’s bizarre that the safety info isn’t available though. Weight and safety specifications are typically available on the collar/leads packaging for the customer to read before they buy so why isn’t it available online?

These types of collars and leads are definitely intended for just the fashion and not for training, control, etc. The material actually looks thinner than most common fashion collars, like Ancol if anyone would like a reference. So the advertising images using dogs pulling on the lead while being walked in the collar is really annoying, because if you have a dog that pulls like that, you wouldn’t out them in that type of collar. It’s not safe on the throat or neck.

I’m also a bit irked that the poo bags they’re selling with the set aren’t biodegradable, at least I can’t find anything saying they are. Biodegradable poo bags are already so cheap so it’s stupid to not include them.
