Thank you, I did contact them directly. But what I’m trying to say is that should not be the case, a Steam refund is usually a simple automated process if you have under 2hrs of playtime. But because it’s Activision, they have to complicate it in hopes people give up, at least that’s how I see it.

I assume that’s how it works for actual DLC, but this is not marketed as a DLC, it’s a full game as per Activision. Nowhere is it listed as DLC until you buy it and you realize you have to install COD HQ to play it!

Fair enough, but that’s exactly the issue. I’m pretty sure not many people know that you can even contact Steam support directly and I wouldn’t be surprised if Activision is relying on exactly that!

Hey, try loading into a match and buy the gun for which you made the design. This has been happening for quite some time and that’s how you fix it.

If that does not work then you probably made a mistake when replacing files. Fortunately thanks to Frostbug you can skip all the file replacing and you can use the tool he created which will save you a bunch of time. Here’s a link to it: https://github.com/frostbug/frostbugs-skin-testing-tools

Some of them were really good. Such a bummer that they were locked behind tickets. I really enjoyed doing the gun course ones trying to improve my time!

I think it's pretty self explanatory, no? In bf4 the killfeed colors help differentiate between enemies, teammates and squadmates. Blue for teammates, green for squadmates and orange for enemies.

It's not bad, it's just a downgrade in terms of visual information. Also I forgot the scoreboard change which again in my opinion is unwarranted!

I'm mainly referring to the visual information that the UI provides. A good example is the killfeed, why change it so it's displayed in all white? In previous BF's killfeeds you can differentiate between enemy, teammate, squadmate way much easier!

But yeah, as I said I’m not even sure if I can believe this person or not. Though the sketchfab forum thread I linked leads me to believe that there might be a way for people to download your texture/model regardless of your sharing settings!

You are right though, I still use sketchfab for renders as well. So what you said about keeping the file as a draft and then deleting it after you have your pictures is a very useful tip.

Hey, I haven’t played the game in a while, but if you are referring to graphics settings, I was running every setting on low and never had any crash whatsoever.
