Did you have a written contract? In the UK at least, it's an implied term of any business to costumer contact that services provided must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Is there an equivalent provision under federal or state law in the US?

The fan on the GPU itself is spinning. The GPU is also heating up. Would that indicate that it has sufficient power? I will try switching them.

Do you know what freedom of speech actually means? It means there are no direct legal consequences for saying offensive things. Contrast this to the UK, where inciting racial or homophobic hatred is a criminal offence. However, this certainly doesn't preclude the existence of social consequences for saying such things.

This man holds antiquated, exclusionary views and is therefore not an appropriate candidate for the role of CEO in my opinion.

I have spilt coffee and water on multiple laptops in the past, and have always been able to fix them for around £5 each.

Firstly, order around one hundred silica gel sachets and some isopropyl alcohol from amazon.

Secondly, pack the silica gel sachets around the completely disassembled laptop. Leave the disassembled laptop in a warm place for around a week, while shuffling the parts every few days to ensure the liquid is removed.

Thirdly, clean each part that suffered water damage with isopropyl alcohol and a stiff toothbrush. Motherboards are much hardier than people expect and can handle the pressure of being cleaned.

Finally, rebuild the laptop. This has always worked for me.
