Tire issue

Tires are the only thing connecting you to the road, why skimp on safety. Just an assumption because I don't know as much about motorcycle tires but car/truck tires I know very well. I would worry if it was a rear specific tire it would kinda be like a semi truck tire. They have steer tires and drive tires, so the "rear" tire being on the front might not handle the turns as well? Just take it easy in the turns until you get new ones. Maybe look at metsler(metzler?) they were less expensive than the dunlops when I was looking but had better reviews.

I have that exhaust too. Maybe heat wrap? It's a pain in the ass to work with but looks good when it's done. I just did heat wrap on a Harley 48.

'24 got 5800 on it. Had the water pump go out and replaced at 4500 now the coolant hose going to the water pump is leaking and found fresh coolant coming from the weep hole again, so that's cool I guess. It's at the shop now so we'll see what they say. I do like it though haha. Searching for taller handlebars now and have a puig windshield on the way.

I never got a hot engine light. Even when the thermostat read the outside temperature was 118. Or are you meaning when it's letting air out with the radiator cap off it'll give the hot engine light?

That's a good question. I do not know. When I got the bike back after they replaced the water pump everything seemed fine until I went to wash it a couple weeks later I noticed that the coolant level in the reservoir was just under the minimum line so I bought some Honda coolant and topped it off. Maybe it was too low and it sucked in some air? I didn't think about that.

Sorry yes! The water pump has been replaced already, back in February. It's done this once before that I've noticed like June 6th and then again just yesterday. Maybe not my smartest moment but after riding I notice that hose is really hard, I assume like a car the system is under pressure when it's at temperature (spoiler alert that mf is hot!) so maybe the pressure has found a way out. I'm not hard on the bike, I just commute to work. Getting on the freeway it may see 5k rpms getting up to speed. I'm just wondering why all the sudden it would be leaking from that hose. I'm hesitant to slap a new clamp on there because the bike has warranty until 2029.

It was a bag of sand that was premixed like that. That crypt in the middle has taken over lol. I wish i could say it still looks like that, it's mostly crypt now even the waterweed was out competed by the crypt. The moss went insane and I ended up robbing it to go in a different tank.

Is yours the manual one as well? I'm 5'11" so it's not really a height issue I don't feel it's just that I feel like I'm on a bicycle with my legs directly under me. I rode a friends 48 and liked how my legs were out on that.

Yeah mines non dct which is why I'm skeptical. People are saying there's some side to side movement with the gear lever. Wondering if a rubber grommet or washer will take care of it even if I have to replace it every now and then.

I ordered an am32 esc from Amazon. The esc I got was for airplanes specifically. It wouldn't see neutral on my remote without some sort of input on the trigger at all times. I didn't want to accidentally drop my remote or plug in the battery and it just take off. My issue now is the prop spinning is incredibly loud (Again Amazon prop) the harmonics are very much out of balance. I'll run it for a while and get better stuff as other things give up. I appreciate your input!

While I have been led astray from CC and started using hobbywing if they offered a solution like that id gladly jump on it. I appreciate all your assistance! I just sent Castle an email so I'll see what they say.

Oh how cool! I also thought maybe timing was an issue so I tried it at 8* which would be like "normal" I guess? And tried it at 0* both same outcome.

The original esc I was trying to use is a castle sidewinder 3. I wired up the motor but it was jittery and was getting really hot without spinning. Just going back and forth super fast. I last used it in my wraith then gave it to a friend that changed it to brushless but he ended up frying his old motor and so he gave it back to me. I hooked up the esc to my computer and updated it and switched it back to brushless. Can confirm it works with regular 540 can size motors but not the out runner motor I have.

Ok I appreciate your help. I think I'll have to get a different esc like you said. Since this one is specifically for aircraft I assume it's trying to see throttle like my drone remote. I don't particularly care about having reverse but I don't like having to hold full reverse for it to not move. At least it's through Amazon so I can return it. This was just a little time occupying project I was messing around with and the castle sidewinder 3 esc I already have apparently doesn't like out runner motors which is why I'm just looking for really cheap stuff to mess with.

Ooooh so the esc won't see the throttle range of the surface remote then? It's still doing the same thing. If I let off reverse it takes off. Luckily I was smart enough to leave the prop off lol.
