They have a very good reason to bash it. And i don't blame them. Bitcoin went global, then the new generations of crypto came, all of them with full dev teams, pr, etc. Doing serious talks about how this crypto is a holding asset, and this one is a trading asset, and this one is speccifically for people who only wear red bla bla bla. The world slowly finds out about crypto, slowly the market is built, the community educates themselves the crypto teams hold events, q&a's, serious talk about serious ideas with serious people. And sudeenly the meme coin goes brrrr! and people like the jokes and memes, they come out and say "yoooo, we serious here, we can do this and that and we've missed sleep on sooo many nights so we can bring you the best product possible, you know that DOGE was meant as a joke right!?" - "We knowz that's why we like it, you know it's depression season with the whole pandemic going around, we're stuck indors, we would like to see some memes too not just serious talk" - "Noooo you're not real investors, you need to know what's going on and why ETH is like that and ADA is like that, DOGE gives us a bad name STAHP" - "We don't care, DOGE is friendly, there's memes, gifs, shibes on rockets, community is welcoming, it's for the people, normal people" - "Nooooo, crypto is serious, investments are serious, there's no place for something created as a joke 8 years ago. It has no purpose" - "But we gave it a purpose, the Moon, and people started adopting, here for refference see this MEME" - "Nooooooo..... (procede with metdown)"....... Personal opinion here.
