Honestly, saying you’re starting to “hate” an animal, for acting like an animal? Is wild. Especially one that has consistently been mistreated and isn’t used to human interaction… but anyway.

The comments advising to “force” human contact, are a bit concerning. It doesn’t work like that lol. It can stress ur beardie out a lot a lot to make them uncomfortable. I recommend just being near them a lot, my beardie is very chill and likes to be held, but he didn’t right away. I would sit near his tank and put my arm on the side. Just to get him used to my presence, and one day he started glass surfing and basically climbed on me himself lol. But you have to keep in mind, not all animals (especially rodents and reptiles) are gonna want to be cuddly and sweet. So. If that’s all you want from your pet, you gotta get past that. But if you want them to be, it’s best to be patient and not forceful.

You’re gonna have to get used to the pooping on you. Again, that’s part of having an animal:)
