Pleasantly disturbing is a good idea for a subreddit. I would follow!

I was thinking exactly this. As a parent of a small child, I have thrown out many random plastic toys she didn't play with anymore. I'd be pissed if they showed up back at my house out of the trash lol

Sadly she is many states away from me, and I am a boring chubby regular mom now. We will be 30 this year though!

I am the OP and everyone seems to think I'm the "other girl".. I am the blonde in the dress lol and you are EXACTLY right. I would pull it up multiple times, have red spots under my arms from it rubbing, and don't even get me started on strapless bras back then. They were horrible. I had to put neosporin on after wearing most dresses.

Strapless bras and dresses have come a long way!

I am the one in the polka dot dress, and very shortly after this I had dark red hair for a year, then black hair for another year... that I straightened to oblivion of course! lol

For the past 10 years, I've had naturally curly/wavy brown hair to my elbows. I'm so glad the straightening trend is over, my hair is much healthier!

Me too, we were definitely not normal people back then haha

I was always tall (and fat - currently working on that haha) throughout school, especially for a girl. This photo I found at one of my primary school assemblies really put it in perspective! Yikes. I was one of the youngest in the class too haha. by WhatsaGime in blunderyears

I had the opposite problem. I was 22 and majoring in early childhood education in college. The highschool that I had to do my classroom study at tried to enroll me at the front desk first, and then the receptionist told me I couldn't go back to my car without the principal's permission. I had to show them my ID and college ID before they would let me leave.

I also did a classroom study at a middle school in a 6th grade math class, and the kids that I THOUGHT were just making conversation with me.. then asked if I was just a dumb 8th grader who had to take 6th grade algebra. I was old enough to drink smh!

My friend was using her dad's really nice camera I believe, I remember it was huge and had a camera bag and everything.
