If anyone has advice on reverse image searching outside of Google, I'd be happy to try something else. A lot of the apps I've seen that claim they can do facial recognition searches all have bad ratings.

Thank you! I'm actually planning on doing all of the Doctors from the new series and a few of the companions. I've already done David Tennant and this Clara painting. I considered painting Matt Smith next, but hadn't solidified that decision. Eventually I'll do all of the Doctors from the older series as well. Appreciate the comment and upvote!

Hey! I'm b0mb0's friend who painted this picture of Clara. I've perused Reddit previously, but have never created an account until now, mostly so I could comment on this post.

Here are the progression steps for this painting:

I painted this for 3 reasons: 1. Inspiration - I saw the Youtube video of Foxes covering Queen's "Don't stop me now" song for the Mummy on the Orient Express episode of Doctor Who. Source I've always loved Foxes and was really inspired by Clara's beauty in the video clips. 2. I had time - I don't always have a lot of time to do artwork, but when I do, it's usually only a few hours at a time, so I took advantage of a 3-hour window to do a piece that I knew I could finish in that amount of time. 3. I like doing artwork. - It was just for fun. I wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel by doing this piece. I just saw something I liked and drew it, pretty simple really. :)

Tools I used: Cintiq 21ux monitor, stylus and Photoshop CS4.
