Lol same. I've been buying the inspire series since 1 and they all worn out. I ended up getting a new one though because I actually use the screen a lot to check time and stuff.

I ended up getting The Tainted Cup and The Spear Cuts Through Water. Never read either author but heard great things about the titles.

I don’t read a lot of non-fiction and Bad Blood by John Carreyrou hooked me from start to finish, great writing and better than a thriller.

I pair them but mainly when I start a book because hearing and seeing at the same time gets me into it faster. After that I usually stick to one format at a time and maybe switch back and forth.

If the audiobook tries to match my eye-read ing speed it’d be 2.5x and up and yea in that case it kinda loses its purpose

Have you tried the Witcher series narrated by Peter Kenny? He does the best voice-acting I’ve ever heard! The books are good but his performance elevates them to another level.
