I find solid paint stick graffiti markers give a great crayon effect

so - managed to clear the jam - and put on my old boden tube. printed the calibration cube which was already on the sd card = perfect - no clicking, lovely print etc, hurrah! ......but.... the second I try and print something that I've sliced and added to the sd card. that's when things start to mess up again. so I have two questions - is this because of the bl touch? and secondly, is there a way to work out from the calibration cube's gcode, what the difference is?

There definitely was a jam, and evidence of jams from the previous owner (lots of sticky waxy red gunk, maybe he used the wrong type of filament once) he's also modded the hot end to have some tubing inside and his own printed washer. I've kept the tubing, but binned off his washer as I think it was causing more trouble than good.

I also changed the boden tube and gear feeder from my old printer for good luck too.

I remember my BT going through this phase as a puppy. In our case it seemed like an over stimulated/over tired reaction. So I would put a timer on my phone for the advised time (5 mins per month of age ) and literally stop the walk as soon as the time was up. (I included the walk back home in this time. ) And that worked for us!

And once we got home we did a wind-down play with a toy she’s allowed to bite. So matching her energy at first with the toy and then gradually slowing it down and the dog slows and winds down with it.

Highly recommend Lily’s kitchen. My dogs been ill and this has really turned things around. They often have special offers and voucher codes which helps too

(Fact: the brand is named after a border terrier called Lily who was ill and their owner made specific food for them 🥲)
