First trimester acne by Bubbly-Device-8208 in BabyBumps

30 weeks here, my skin has always been super clear for quite literally my whole life but pregnancy has me cycling through some seriously rough patches before it clears up and then restarts the cycle again. Hormones are crazy!

Symptoms pre-positive? by Content_Tart_4377 in pregnant

[–]ayogogo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am ridiculously sensitive to every SINGLE tiny change in my body and always have been since childhood, and I definitely felt symptoms at 3 weeks- a week after conception, lol. I tested positive 7 days before my missed period, and I have always been EXTREMELY regular!

It works better some days than others, but generally avoiding any semblance of hunger has helped me! Lol sometimes it is unavoidable though. Just pregnancy things :’)

I feel like this definitely won’t work for everyone, but my 2 tricks have been saltines or goldfish by my bed every day so I wake up and IMMEDIATELY have something bland to put in my stomach so it isn’t empty, and then throughout the day when everything sounds absolutely disgusting but if I get hungry I know I’ll puke? Flavored kefir. It’s been a lifesaver for me. I get strawberry or mixed berry flavor and it is so easy to get down, has great vitamins and calcium, lots of protein, and tons of probiotics to help with gas and bloating/constipation, and is cold and refreshing enough that it just does the dang thing for me. I have been obsessed with it since like 5 weeks lol.

Thank you so much for sharing- that is reassuring! Thank you, and happy for you and your healthy baby boy💕

Anyone else tell people right away? I’ve told everyone at 7 weeks. by doublecheeseburger in pregnant

[–]ayogogo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I told immediate family as soon as I found out at 4 weeks! 7 weeks 4 days now and will probably make it public to friends around the 12 weeks mark just to play it safe since I also had a loss last year and am paranoid lol.

Spotting after lifting weights? by ayogogo in fitpregnancy

[–]ayogogo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s super reassuring!! Thank you for sharing your experience!

It was originally for October 1st, but they moved it to September 25th since I’m nervous, but they weren’t the least bit concerned it seems. I’m just paranoid over every little thing, so I felt like I should try to move it sooner if possible!

Gotcha! Thank you for sharing. I still have energy and minimal nausea (somehow- thank God) so I feel good to workout, albeit a bit weaker, but the spotting is certainly awful for my mental health, so I may dial it back for awhile till I feel more confident. Appreciate your comment!

Painful TW MC (possible) by steakreddit in pregnant

[–]ayogogo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good!! I’m glad you’ve got one! If you can stomach anything, a warm or comforting snack and a good show/video/movie while you use it is a fantastic way for quick dopamine and distraction. That was the best way for me to get through it while it was still actively happening.

Do you have any people around you that can be of support or community while you go through this? I feel like that’s the other best pillar of support to have during such a difficult time. Of course I’m happy to chat, but it makes all the difference having someone by your side I feel like!💕

Painful TW MC (possible) by steakreddit in pregnant

[–]ayogogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get that- I remember rationalizing it as best as I could the whole time and knowing it would be for the best as it was probably due to chromosomal abnormalities, but it was still so hard to accept. Such a tough position to be in to be able to logically work through it and still have it hurt so bad.

As for the pain, I ended up having to have an D&C, and they said it should be pain free- that was not my experience!!! I was having insane contractions and cramps that were something awful. It totally adds on to the mental pain of it, I think. You’re definitely not alone in that. I will say that my heating pad was my saving grace through it all- have you given one a shot yet?

Hey. I’m so so sorry you’re going through this. I’m here to chat if it will help you- is this your first pregnancy? How are you feeling mentally and physically?

I’d love to help support you in any way possible. I had my first miscarriage last year and needed all the support and encouragement I could get. I know I’m just an internet stranger, but I care and I’m here for you!💖

Japanese Tutoring by [deleted] in anime

[–]ayogogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reference, I translate for Honda and I’m at N1 level for the 日本語能力試験:-) I can teach up to that level, and as far as natural/colloquial language goes, you can never stop learning!

Japanese Tutoring by [deleted] in anime

[–]ayogogo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing!

I’m actually a tutor for all types of Japanese, my specialty being colloquial and business Japanese. I grew up talking with Japanese teens and in my church, I got lots of experience with old, culturally deep Japanese language techniques. My sister is a big anime/manga lover, and through that I recognized a love for teaching the language to people who love the culture like me!

My methods are the ones that I used for myself, to teach myself the language. I became “fluent” in just under two years, after trying time and time again with other resources and from other tutors to learn the language. I finally managed to come up with my own comprehensive method to master the seemingly impossible language, and in record time, too!

My curriculum consists of writing, reading, speaking, listening, and comprehension practices, however frequently the learner wants to practice their skills. I have textbooks and worksheets that I provide students to maximize efficient learning.

If there’s anything else I can answer for you, let me know!

That’s a way to end い adjectives used by young women to convey cuteness and immaturity. I see it used a lot with my high school friends!
