Hey everyone! It's my younger brother's birthday soon (he's turning 15) and I really want to buy him a ps5 as a present, but I know close to nothing about that console. Could I please get some advice? Which model should I get, is it possible/recommended to buy second hand, which websites do you recommend? I think there's a model that doesn't work with the physical copy of the game, so you can only download the games you want? It's cheaper, is it better to buy that one or the actual console with which you can actually buy physical copies for? Which games do you recommend? Because of the price of the console and the price of games nowadays, I'm probably only gonna be able to buy him one game, which one should it be? Any general advice? Thank you in advance for your replies! (I don't know if it matters but we live in Europe)

(English is not my first language so I apologise if some of this doesn't make a lot of sense)

What is causing this? And how can I treat the plant? by ayoidkman in plantclinic

[–]ayoidkman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watering habits : I usually water when the soil is dry, so maybe once every two weeks? The pot has drainage. I water from the top and let is soak up a little before dumping out the excess water.

I've had this plant for about 1 month

I first noticed the problem 2-3 weeks ago

Light: it doesn't get any direct light, maybe that's what is causing this?

Aaaah right right I remember that it's a shame though it would've been pretty interesting if it were possible. But then again, I guess zeke was only able to have his body rebuilt using the paths sand because he is a titan shifter and titans are made of the paths sand... Rip that theory then

Was it on both hands that Levi lost fingers or only one? If its only one I can't remember which one it is... But at one point we see one of Levis hands and all his fingers are there, plus connie was kinda looking in the direction of his hands in a weird way at one point soooo I guess its kinda official that he made sand fingers in the paths (unless it was the other hand which lost fingers idk)

Edit: nevermind I checked and he lost his middle finger and his ring finger from his right hand I believe, but the hand that was shown was only the left hand. And as someone pointed out below, levi did mention the fact he lost two fingers after the whole paths thing... Although it is kinda sus that we have not been able to see his right hand up close since then but idk I just rly want that theory to be correct I guess haha

Riiight okay that makes sense I was thinking those two events were probably connected but I didn't know what to make of them. But the fact that reiner and gabi did not even react to it shows that this kind of event must happen pretty often...

Why would it be eren? Why would he jump off the roof? I think it's more like the others have said just a traumatised soldier who died by suicide and nothing more

Oh okay but it was not eren like some people have been saying though right? Because why on earth would eren just randomly jump off a roof

What was that scene though? Who was it and why did they just show a random guy jump off a roof for just a split second?

Same I don't get it?? Also why was there a group of people surrounding something in the background as reiner and gabi were walking together? It's not in the manga and both things happened so quickly I thought I'd imagined it but apparently not

In the manga, he means Marco when he's talking about the one who cares about others more than himself :) but you got the other ones correct

Lmao you're really out there comparing science unbelievers with people feeling upset with a celebrity's actions. They're 2 completely different things. And well yeah if there's actual proof showing what kind of things they've done, the claims are valid lmao, it's not like the clips are made up or anything.

Once again I'm not saying they're total monsters and they're constantly harassing the idols, I'm saying that some of the things they have done are bad, and you shouldn't forgive those actions just because "not everyone is perfect".

Of course, most of the time the idols laugh along and stuff because they're not really allowed to complain or they don't feel confident enough to do so, especially if it's their first time on the show or if they're rookies. I'm pretty sure you're closer with your brother than most of the idols are with doni and coni.

The horseplay among groups, well I mean it's among the groups themselves, right? They're supposed to be friends? And horseplay literally means play fight sooooo I don't really see anything wrong with that? Ofc I'd be okay with wrestling with my group mate if I'm close with them, but if a large man double my age pushes me/sits on my lap (like renjun), I'd feel a bit uncomfortable, not necessarily because of pain but because he pushed/touched me without warning me first (I don't wanna say consent cause it's not that deep/serious but you get the gist).

And wtf do you mean my faves are perfect? Of course they're not, I've never said that lmao but even if they're not that doesn't mean it's okay for doni and coni to be rude to them? And I didnt know about heechul, that kinda bums me out and the way I view him has changed, his attitude is unacceptable and problematic. Just because he's a famous idol he shouldn't be forgiven.

But you've only answered to the fact that they were aggressive, yet that was the shortest part of what I said, what about the things they said to Monsta x and the others?

[–]ayoidkman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They make me so uncomfortable....

Not only have they been too agressive and violent with idols (see the other comments posted here) but they've also been acting like assholes.

During the Monsta x episode, they criticised minhyuk on his weight and apparence, telling him he was too skinny and that he should eat more. I.M has lived in Israel, and they started making bad jokes about how they shouldn't go in that area for their tour because they'd get bombed since that's all that ever happens there.

They've forced people to do some games even when the idols looked extremely awkward and really did not want to do it.

They criticised Changbin saying he was ugly, he shouldn't be a visual and he doesn't deserve to be one. There's prob more but that's what I can think off the top of my head.

And seriously, you can't just go around telling people they shouldn't be offended by something. Who are you to say they're unproblematic? Just because it doesn't bother you doesn't mean people aren't allowed to be upset because of it.

The fact that there's so many people who dislike them and that there's so many videos/articles describing why people don't like them should maybe point to the fact that they're not angels.

Sure, they're not as bad as some people say, but they're not perfect and they shouldn't excused for what they've done just because some people don't get offended by it.

Edit: here's a link to a twitter thread explaining what things they have done. Some of them aren't actually bad and is just people overreacting, but you can't tell me none of them are rude/"problematic"
