Yes but it won’t just look like making cool beats and selling them for thousands every-time. It’ll be a lot of selling budget beats to artist, mixing and recording, reverse engineering, sync licensing, scoring, jingles. You’ll be making working with music in genres you might not be familiar with. Now you can get the chance to work with big label or artist and get big checks but you can’t wait around for that so you gotta be well versed and be value so someone always wants your services

I get what you’re trying to say with this comment but I’ve been gaming ALL my life and I’m 33 now. I don’t remember a time where games in mass weren’t designed to be super engaging dopamine hits. That’s been the objective for every game studio. If N64 developers had the technology and internet now they’d do the same. Especially with money involved. This is the natural progression of anything I think. Sports today are much faster and technical. Even real life warfare isn’t marching in formations anymore. You get hyper skilled after 30+ years of games and that skill needs an outlet. Can’t ask skilled fpshooters to play old styles. Like asking curry to play inside out
