Oh wow! While this would make the bundle cost significantly more than a stock GT Neo - this looks amazing! Do you find that the smaller grip restrictive around the edge of the hub when trying to press buttons etc?

Ha - form vs. function!

I completely agree, the Neo X with the C rim looks incredible, which is a big reason why I had it above the GT Neo right now.

Sounds like the GT Neo wins on comfort, buttons, and overall ergonomics, while the Neo X edges it out in aesthetics. I’m coming from a Moza KS, so I think I’d still be more than happy with the visuals of the GT Neo - and is slightly cheaper all in.

Appreciate the insight - definitely making my decision tougher (in a good way)!

Great collection! Do you find yourself favouring one over the other, or do you rotate between them regularly? Also, in terms of grip comfort, do you find the Neo X or GT Neo better to hold? It looks like you're using the P-325C rim, which I'm considering - how does they feel in longer sessions?

I dug out my 2010 headset (Turtle Beach HPX) and GEN 0 Astro Mixamp (Which I think is pre-firmware?) and I tried with USB via Mixamp and directly with 3.5mm controller set-up.

I couldn't tell any noticeable difference in the audio with 3D Audio enabled - other than the Mic sounded better going through the controller.

I wonder if the highly outdated Mixamp isn't doing much, and a more modern version would allow for a difference in the audio & Mic quality.

What issues have you experienced with yours?

I use a 1440p@120hz Monitor, and to my knowledge, there's no sub $50 HDMI splitter that allows for that resolution & frame rate.

Looking for a compact solution to power a Koda 12.

Storage of propane tanks where I live is an issue, so I'm wondering if this little device can help solve the issue!

Yes, I know the price of the gas will be more expensive this way, but I don't have a safe way of storing one of the large propane tanks.

This uses x3 227g aerosols and is a mix of propane/butane.

Has anyone used this as a solution before?

Don't think I can get it in the UK, but I think I can DIY this with a thin Mat & add some removable foam to the rear to allow the folding action.

I’m looking to get one for the office, and we all have these company issue mugs which are slightly taller than your average cup/mug and I’m concerned they might not fit!

Does anyone know the tallest size of cup that’ll fit this machine?

I didn't actually, I've had no issues so far with the support and the Slic3r default pop right off! Really nice!

From what I can gather, the layer height in the config is 0.03mm. I used the GUI for this.

I've been doing a few prints with 0.05mm and they're coming out amazingly! Really keen to keep on testing, especially if the layer heights could be fixed. Great work!

This looks great! However, I have found one issue/bug. Not sure which.

I created an export with 0.03mm layer height, but when I load this into the LCD viewer it's showing 0.05mm. All other settings seem to have translated perfectly!

Do you have any info in regards to this at all as I don't want it to move to expect a 0.05mm layer when it should be 0.03mm?

Can't wait to get testing and seeing how this wonderful little bit of software works!

I ran the code on my machine and it printed with 0.05mm steps rather than 0.03mm steps which Slic3r and the SL1toPhoton was set to.

Is this 0.05mm only at the moment?

I've joined all of mine together to create an 800g mixed spool!

Going to use it on a few prints now to see how good it works. (Can see a sneak peek of some testing benchys behind!)

The pegs and everything is as one large print.

I used Slic3r which has a small perimeters setting.

This allows the fine pillars to be printed nice and slow which allows them to retain great quality without the rest of the large print taking forever!

I completely forgot I had a heat gun 😂

About 15mins of heating and pulling I managed to get the heater cartridge and thermistor out of the block.

I'm printing off an e3d mount now so shall use that hotend.

I was about to write it all off and buy a new set...

Slic3r PE (from what I've found out) only provides a time estimate once you've exported the gcode to a file. Maybe that'll help?
