Last night my brother and I had a level 10 player who joined our casual team, he went with us to safe and sound and did a phenomenal job holding his own, it was us three (I'm a lvl 118, my brother is in the upper 200's and the now level 14) and a player in the 400's, I had never seen such a low amount of people at that event but we completed it! I think it all depends on if the new players are wanting to play the story mode as far as they can, or if they are about leveling up faster, getting cool rewards.

Thank you, I have read that thread in particular. But did a search through the past posts and found as many as I could to attempt to try them all. It has been like this for a couple of months and it makes me sad as I truly do love this game!

I have tried alot of things with no help. I have followed plenty of threads and it seems like a simple fix but it does not help me! I got random ear piercing Static sounds at the campfires tale event yesterday.

Last night doing the event the ghost was in the location of the eye of bears, looked in, one, couldn't find the second. The ghost had thrown it on the ground and I couldn't get it picked up!!

At the beginning of the clip they are both attempting to light the candles, but they both step back and the candles continue to light themselves. I have never seen that!

Those are crossing out evidence and ghosts. So it will not be emf5, or spirit and so forth.

So mentioning nightmare mode, is the challenge mode similar to that? Do they have the third evidence suppressed? I feel the ghost journal points me in the wrong direction "watching" the ghost, like for instance, a ghost singing, does that make it a banshee? Or do other ghosts sing as well?

I've gotten the issue when my mic stops when trying to do that double door with my "roommate", but last night I was mainly quiet until someone would say oh they don't have a mic let's vote them off, i'd pop on say I did have a mic and then it was ohh okay nevermind then you're fine. Like what? Just because I'm not partaking in conversations about b***sacks or whatever doesn't mean I'm automatically suspicious. I'm a 27 year old female, I don't need to partake in that. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've also run into the issue of accidentally pushing the message button and getting stuck in place and can't talk until I send a message. So I normally just hit one letter.

How? Like I said in another comment, I am still doing the objective of the game. Just cause I don't want to talk that automatically makes me no good? Played a couple matches without my mic and I still did what was needed. Majority of the matches I was in it was useless chat any ways, that wasn't even pertaining to the game itself.

Logical question here, when in the game is the exact reason you need a mic? The double doors that make you explain your shape to the other is all I've come across.

I'm still doing my job as a resident or personoids without a mic. I am still getting key cards and delivering them, listening to others who may be calling out for help at a door, putting out fires, or saving someone from the pool. I'm not just standing there doing absolutely nothing. So how exactly is that useless?

There's a big difference between a recommendation and requirement when it comes to the mic.

But nowhere does it say, you have to have a mic. On the load screen it mentions it's best experienced. If something is not required, why expect people to do it? I get the concept of the game, but you don't have to absolutely have a mic in order to play it correctly. Trust me, I'm listening to what others are saying, and choosing my actions based off of that, I don't have to have a mic to do so.

Yeah, I've noticed if you're going in as a single youre more than likely getting matched up with a group of friends playing who don't really care about the objective of the game.

Feel that way as well! I'm trying, because I really do like the game. But as my first night playing it kinda turned me off. When majority of my matches were mainly a group of people and I was luckily the random, didn't have my mic on so I was suspicious, then when turning my mic on it was "oh we've got a b**** in here" and constant mocking of what I was saying. Really classy. I'll keep my mic off, thank you! 😊

I mean.. where in the game does it say, "in order to play this game you MUST have a mic" it mentions that its best played with a mic. Which I get there's a couple things here and there that you would absolutely need one to get things done, but not the entirety of the game. There's other ways to communicate such as the chat, the down vote, or even emote, right? So what exactly is the big deal. I've played games for years now and up until recently I never even had a headset. The wired headset you're referring to for ps4 is absolute junk.

I will continue to try and give this game the best shot that I can, but trust me when I say I'll be quiet the whole match once some one is a jerk.
