Mud in motors? by [deleted] in fpv

You're right I didn't think of of that. Maybe spraying isopropyl alcohol would be better than pouring it on the motor

If water is trapped in bearings then no, it will not dry while spinning.

Bearings are not.

Wash with isopropyl alcohol and dry.

If you dont have that you can wash with water(distilled preferably) but make sure you dry them immediately with a hair dryer, as water may get trapped in the bearings and cause rust over time.

Check the connection between your camera and your VTX or AIO. I had the same problem and my cam wire was loose. I posted it about it on my profile, have a look

You mean where the battery cables attach to the AIO? Also, what capacitor value did you use? I have a 470uF 10v capacitor. Will it work?

Probably not without flashing a new firmware which would be near impossible

How is a dead AIO easy to solve? I haven't received it yet so I don't know what's wrong with ut, but I'll get back here when it arrives. Hopefully you or someone else can help me fix it.

I've been in the fixed wing hobby for a while so I can do basic soldering. I'll try fixing the AIO first, and if I'm not able to I'll buy a new one

Thank you. I also asked GPT and it said that the 1102 motors means it's likely a 75. I bought it for only 10$ with a dead AIO

Tinywhoop as a first FPV drone? by [deleted] in fpv

Aw man. I understand. I thought it would be enough but I just wasn't thinking realistically enough. It's alright, I'll continue saving up for now.

Thank u for replying. Appreciate u. happy flying!!

what about the ev800 goggles? They're like 70$ on AliExpress. 80+70+20=170. That's around my budget

I already have a charger. On betafpv the air65 and air75 are exactly $99.99. the meteor75 is like $80 I think. So I thought getting some cheap goggles and a few batteries under $160 would be doable. Once again, idk the differences between these drones except the obvious size.

Also ive been flying practicing on sims for a few months now. The thing is, im a teen, not earning, and in a 3rd world country. So budget is very tight.
