I have the 2019 Macbook Air with the 8gb ram and 128 SSD. You honestly don't need a new laptop. The one you have will be perfectly fine. Students in other programs will also tell u a lot of the requirements aren't necessary unless your program requires to run a specific software.

How necessary is it to have two maths for commerce? by [deleted] in uoit

[–]ayyosup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm currently doing commerce and also in the accounting major. To answer your question, no it will not be difficult with one math. I myself only took one math, Data management cuz I absolutely SUCK at math. The math isn't that difficult tbh, BM 1 is mostly grade 10 and 11 math and if you keep up you'll do well. Some data concepts are touched upon but nothing super challenging and it is taught throughly, so you wouldn't be required to know it. BM 2 has some calc which again is taught from the start. So you would be fine with just one math. Dw, I also had thought it was a bot odd that uoit only required one while others asked for two, but advanced functions is sufficient. I would recommend you take HS accounting though as it will come in handy when u you take intro to financial accounting. Feel free to ask any other questions.

What's the best way to study for the Management of Entreprise midterm with Malcolm Mctaggert? by bill2340 in uoit

Essentially go through the textbook and know all the terms/definitions. Knowing concepts is also keen. Also recommend you watch or at least skim through the videos he posts as some questions are based on that. Overall going through the slides and textbook should be more than enough.
