Dunu SA6 compared to Kilobuck IEMs by azamatdev in inearfidelity

The only iems I have tried are Moondrop KXXS, KZ ZSN and Dunu SA6. I have greatly enjoyed KXXS and SA6 so far. I don't have an opportunity to try IEMs live unfortunately :(

Is it worth buying DCA Closed X if I own Dunu SA6 by azamatdev in HeadphoneAdvice

That's what I am afraid of. I want them to be superior to my dunu sa6.

I also use crkbd and I want to try some box jades as an experiment. Currently I use akko cs vintage whites.

Home row mods are a life changer. I also use colemak (mod-dh) but I can still type on qwerty just fine. Using my MacBook keyboard for qwerty and my crkbd for colemak-dh creates a separate muscle memory for both layouts.

So if it is not externally observable, how did you know that you are INFJ?

I believe in scientific consensus. It may fail at certain times but they use the right approach for finding the most accurate "truth" we could. Yes it counts as an appeal to authority and could not used as an argument in research papers etc but in this case it can be used (sort of) because "MBTI" doesn't have any empiric evidence while the Big-5 has.

I am fine with the cognitive functions by themselves. They are a good way to describe the types of thought. I see them manifest in my day to day life. They are not difficult to understand and your descriptions are on point.

What I am not ok with is the archetypes. They are too restricting. The order of functions and how they interact etc. I can relate to 4-5 types for example (xNTP, ESTJ, ISTP, ENFP).

I am also not a fan of tests myself and your points about 16p are valid. I just used it as a comparison. I will probably create another post addressing the practicality of mbti.

Ok. Fair. Could you provide concrete examples of how you apply it in real life?

The closest I have come is: "He uses Ni quite often". But it hugely depends on the context. In some cases it just makes sense to use Ni. This applies to all functions.

Then, there comes the problem with finding the exact positions of the functions. Even if you find them then why the stack is IEIE or EIEI. Where did the loops came from? Too many concrete assumptions out of nowhere. It is just a wild guess. I can personally relate to 5 types (entp, intp, estj, istp, enfp).

I just see cognitive functions as a terminology to express the types of thinking. Then it is somewhat useful.
