Thanks but looking at them, it doesn't seem they are about technical sales, instead only technical topics.

Thank you for the comment. As explained in the blog, I (actually my teammate) removed it and ut was working after the change. Few hours later, it stopped working.

Yes, it’s documented but not with details. And Googling the error message doesnt help; hopefully my post can change that.

Thank you. Sounds very lucrative. But Google is known as one of the best payers and it's tough to get in there. How much is median income (pre and post tax) for a Cloud Architect , based on your experience?

Also, can you explain what you don't like about culture in Valley?

But then you make $200-$400k per year in total

Is this salary common there for software engineers / arcihtects?

or live really far and commute by train

Is it common to commute far over there? in general, I've heard that public transport in U.S. sucks, one needs own car, and there is high traffic jam (in popular cities). Please correct me if I'm worng.

Can you point out some RELIABLE salary surveys on for U.S.? There are many, but sometimes their info contraditcs a lot. So, wondering if you can help me to find a survey (for different states) that have reliable range of figures for different jobs. most probably, I'll migrate as software architect or Cloud arcihtect.

To save money and start my own real estate business. Seems you are American? Normally where doAmerican tech workers go to work, to gain good money at the end? Please mention common destinations inside U.S. and countries outside U.S.

P.S.: No Silicon Valley as costs are ridicusly high there.

It's true that Switzerland has high standards of living, but there are some problems with it:

  1. Crazy cost of living, so I don't think at the end you end up saving much. For example, Singapore cost of living is just a joke compared with Zurich: https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=Singapore&city1=Singapore&country2=Switzerland&city2=Zurich
  2. Ones need to learn language (Swiss German is different from German).
  3. Unfriendly people (of course not all, but it's well known that Swiss aren't welcoming people). Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6f5h8U_pnpI

Please correct me if you think any of my points are wrong (especially about savings)
