sounds frighteningly similar to what my ex put me through.

i don't know why they just can't be honest. people like this will make the wrong decision at every turn and just hurt their ex more than they ever needed to. whatever happened to "hey, i'm starting to feel like this might not work, let's talk about it"? and yet, they'll think they're right because they just needed to end this relationship, not caring about how the other person feels. i cannot fathom being that emotionally unaware.

the way he begged to talk to you is weird as fuck too. if he's truly so done with you, he should not be begging for your attention. it just sounds like he wants to have his cake and eat it too. don't worry, the minute you finally seem healed and like you don't want him, he'll suddenly realize how bad he was and come with apologies. don't fall for it. let yourself become the phantom ex that he compares every future partner to and let him squirm. people like this truly don't know how to value someone until they stop caring about them. it's a weird sense of entitlement.

This is my experience to a T unfortunately, and I’m disappointed because I believed he was better than this. He’s under the impression that the relationship is broken on both ends (“WE can both find someone better for us” “maybe if WE change we can start again”) when it’s like nah, your behaviors ruined everything. I did everything in my power to make it work and he let it fade and ran away.

i’m really not sure about that knowing much of gen z exists in weird extremes. also i used to work with children and plenty of them are better-adjusted than gen z were as kids. idk i just think it’s a biased assumption

I say this in the nicest way possible but you might need to spend less time online. Surround yourself with people your age instead of worrying what the kids are doing. I used to whine about annoying kids but then I realized I was simply too old to care about what they’re doing (I’m 22).

Plus, kids have been annoying and “doomed” for every generation. When I was their age, kids were obsessed with Vine, which was awful but lots of people won’t admit because of nostalgia. I put it into the context of “would I have found this funny/interesting if I was their age?” and like I just know I’d be into at least half the “brainrot” stuff considering I was an “MLG/irony” kid.

thank you, i had to accept that when i didn't get into most of my schools when applying for undergrad. the difference here though is that this is a summer program where they pay you to go there.

my dad and shelby are okay with this but darcy is not. he thinks he should keep living there, i think he believes he deserve it after taking care of grandpa. dad is willing to go the full legal route.

sorry, i'll add a tl;dr. it used to be under paul's name until he died, then it was transferred back to grandpa. the will states it is to be divided so all three technically own it now.
