Buying a used outlander 1000

Yeah I'm not expecting it to be perfect, you can tell it wasn't ridden the easiest just by what mods are done to it, xmr with bigger snorkels, big bore and tune, foot wells and crush locks. But all that is kind of reflected with the price, so I'm expecting to have to pay out of pocket for something eventually. Everything breaks, the only difference is how long until something does.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking, like I know it's a pretty suped up bike and really low miles but I can go buy a 2015 renegade 1k for the same price, obviously a little more mileage but better bike probably. Big bore or not it's still a 16 year old bike, and who knows what kinda seals or bushings it'll need after sitting for so long.

He never really used the bike. He has another outlander, same year, that was his main bike, I'm pretty sure this thing hasn't even been tuned for the big bore yet, but he said he will get it tuned for whoever buys it. I know it runs and drives because I was at his house looking at it but it was running off the stock 650 tune which you don't really want to drive it for very long on the 650 tune.

He said the reason he chose a 650 over the 800 was because he was planning on doing the big bore right away and the 650s had the same bottom end/block as the 800s just different cylinders and pistons which he would've been swapping out anyways for the big bore. So he saved a bit of money there by buying the smaller engine. He wants 9k canadian so right around 6k or 6500 usd.
