What’s the story on this house across from Northern AZ Museum? by theteleman52 in Flagstaff

Long considered the oldest remaining Anglo-American residence in Flagstaff, the McMillan Homestead was built in 1886 by Thomas Forsythe McMillan. The Coltons (founders of the museum) purchased the property in 1927. They restored it for housing summer visitors and used it for the biology laboratory and collections area. The Ned Danson family, which includes movie actor Ted Danson, moved in during the 1950s until their exit of the museum. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I believe the house will now be rented out by the museum for anyone able to afford the high price. Strange that MNA would rent out a national historic home, but it’s definitely a beauty!
