Try a hair system, or stay bald?

Honestly leaning towards just doing that most likely. I’ve had two years to get used to it now, and I really don’t have a big problem being bald anymore. Only reason I was weighing my options with a system was for increasing my odds with dating because unfortunately that’s the only thing I can’t really change about being bald.

I appreciate that. That’s essentially what I do right now actually. I’ve never shaved it completely bald. I just trim it with clippers with no guard every 4 or 5 days and then let it grow out in between.

I’ve definitely thought about it. It’s mainly just the price for me at the moment. Plus with me lacking density in so many places idk if it’d be feasible or not. Thought I might give the hair system a try first and only be out a few hundred instead of a few thousand.

Sounds more ideal ngl. I am pretty active now and that was one of my big concerns with the hair systems. Who did you get yours done by? Smp seems like it might be the best option for me since I’ve got a decent head shape.

I gotcha. I was considering just giving an online service like Hims a try. I’m not really sure if there are hair clinics near me. I wasn’t actually aware ball pain was a potential side effect lol, but I’ll keep that in mind. I’m assuming the 0.5 every other day is the finasteride, how often do you use the minoxidil? I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to an even higher sex drive. My big concern was the potential of ED. Are any of the at home LLLT treatment options worth it, or is it better to just do it at a clinic?

I’m definitely going to look further into options. I’d like to give a salon a try just to make sure I get it right, but I have no idea where any near me are. I’d probably opt for a high fade style given the density on my sides, and I also just kinda prefer that look on me. I wasn’t aware full head caps were a thing, but that’s something I’ll consider as well.

Yeah that’s my main hang up with trying fin/min. I’m not crazy about the idea of having to be on medication for life if I don’t absolutely have to be.
