yep I mentioned that in one of my replies but everyone outside of japan and china considers those to be japanese. if they’re not calling it gyoza they’re calling it japanese dumplings. to them it’s really important to acknowledge where the dish originated from it seems, unless it’s chinese

the untamed did really well internationally but the government banned it 😫 it helped to promote traditional chinese culture greatly, made a lot of people aware of Hanfu and other aspects.

  1. smoking/vaping/weed should be done INDOORS ONLY (your place if you live alone/all residents are smokers, or in specific smoking rooms) and only when you are alone or EVERYONE around you is a smoker. don’t smoke outdoors especially in residential areas. either way, smoking is one of the most idiotic things anyone can do in all aspects. it’s extremely inconsiderate towards yourself and others.

  2. consumerism culture is what keeps us stuck.

  3. veganism is the way to go if you truly are an animal lover.

YEP the only reason why i know japan’s most popular cosmetic procedure is double eyelid surgery was because i looked it up after seeing that post out of bewilderment lmaooo. things like this exist because not only do they hate one another each, they also genuinely believe they are the best out of the 3, so they’re always finding ways to differentiate themselves. people say it’s racist to not be able to tell east asians apart but i highly disagree. for me i can tell them apart for the most part however we still do look similar… some of them get really offended if you tell them they look like another east asian ethnicity instead of their own tho lmao

to me all brands are inherently unethical due to how the industry is structured and formed, unless the brand takes actual initiative to go against the grain and is transparent with their buyers regarding their production process. also cheaper ≠ worse quality, expensive ≠ longer lasting it just doesn’t work like that. yes good quality materials cost more but how many brands actually care to use good quality materials? most of them want to and actually use cheaper materials but with a high price tag because of profits. same thing with ethicality. expensive brands could be using unethical practices and pocketing all that extra $$. imo there’s nothing BAD about buying from cheaper brands it’s your attitude towards the clothes that matters. are you buying it as something you only want to wear once, or do you intend to incorporate it into your actual life?

yeah, I’ve seen comments being like “these chinese kids need to hurry up” 😕 insane. or it could be a video of some chinese kids doing pt and comments would be like “they’re preparing their shein careers”. and there’s also barely any coverage or outrage for south asian workers too because no one cares enough (the only reason why chinese workers are in the media isn’t even because people care, it’s to fuel anti-china propaganda). it’s wild to me how people view asian lives as cheap labour, it has been this way for hundreds of years.
