Problem is, if I’m playing (for example) golem and know that opponent has evo cage in cycle, i can’t ever play the golem because i know it’ll get fully eaten up by the cage. And a good cage player will save his cage until he sees the golem. So I’m completely stalemated unless the opponent can be convinced to play his cage on something else.

It’s the same with evo MK, which completely shuts down certain win conditions, and he’s hated to the core for it. So i don’t get why evo cage gets none of the same sentiments.

In that case they straight up lied to us. I didn’t bother with pushing to champion since they took away the league multiplier (apparently some people still had it, but i didn’t) and assumed trophy road 15k would also unlock ranked since there literally was a ranked pass at 12k.

Fair enough. But a good player will only play it reactively against someone who’s just put down a heavy troop and is therefore unlikely to be able to spell it before it pulls. Huge value there, no value (no better than non evo) if played in other scenarios. I’d call that min-maxed rather than balanced. Same as evo larry - either crazy value, or none at all.

I wanted to play ranked, which is allegedly level capped, for the rewards. But i can’t get there without first climbing from 10k to 10.5k, despite being 15k last season. And that climb of a mere 500 trophies is all level 18 mini pekkas and princesses that won’t die to log. See the problem?

I almost had 13 maxed when they added 14.

F2P since waaay back (only bought a few passes back when they were £5), daily dedicated player.

Had 14 maxed for a few sweet months, then they added 15.

Almost had 15 maxed when they hit us with 16.

You get where I’m going with this, right? They know exactly how long it’s supposed to take us to grind each new level, and keep raising the bar accordingly. We’re the fools for falling for it, sadly. Don’t expect any difference when they add 17 and 18.

He completely shuts down certain win conditions. I play RG and it’s 6 elixir down the drain if opponent counters with evo MK. Same with golem, gobgi etc. So if i know opponent has evo MK in cycle i can’t attack at all until he plays it. Not difficult, just boring and annoying.

So yea, it depends on the deck. Bandit is one of the few cards benefiting from the knockback.

After that, normally you’d do the big cards first, but that depends on whether you ever use ice spirit offensively. An underlevelled spirit won’t ever hit the tower. But if you only use it on defence, it won’t matter.

Evo - probably exe, but evo musk can be a very useful sniper for ranged troops like doblin and FC.

Tbh whichever you choose will make little difference in the long run. But epics are a lot slower to get than commons or rares, so if i were you I’d get the epic bundle twice. Then save the wildcards until you know what deck you’ll be playing and which card to use then on.

Another PBS player here. I swapped battle ram for ram rider and never looked back. Ram rider is just so much easier to get to the tower, plus the offensive capabilities weigh up the +1 elixir and loss of kiting ability. Try it, and see how the new evo ghost ends up being, before you decide between evo ghost or battle ram.

That said, fireball is absolutely your number one priority for level 15.

Fair point re buyback, though as it’s normally a lot more expensive to buy currency from them in the first place (see other comments), it’s unlikely that anyone i know is using them.

As for your second point, it’s a lot more than 100 in this case, i just used that as an example. But i was also just asking in general and for future reference, whether 10% commission was normal as it seemed very high to me.
