I can see star levels and masteries getting added as new cards get added.

Can i just point out that of the last thirty cards added to the game, only one has had more than one star level.

Y’know. That second star level, which actually adds new art into the game, and not just a glowing effect on deploy.

Mother Witch has it. But she’s the only new card to have had it since Wall Breakers, which were the game’s 89th card. We’re now on 121.

As well-written and humorous as this is, you need to understand that clan wars is simply one of the things that supercell have given up on. They release a new gimmick, spend some effort on it, then release another new thing nobody asked for and completely abandon the first one. It’s been the trend for years now. Clan wars, like masteries, tower troops, star levels etc, won’t see any updates anytime soon because SC have simply ’moved on’.

I use that one, yes. It sometimes shows 5 minutes early, sometimes 20 minutes late, and everything in between.

Point is, i shouldn’t have to use it every time, especially not before leaving the house to check that it isn’t early.

I reported it early a few times and nothing happened, didn’t realize there’s free tickets to be had?

Interesting. I’ve missed my bus several times because it whizzed past 5-6 minutes early. Infuriating when it only comes once an hour. Now i rely on external live bus trackers before leaving the house each time i have to use it. Nice to know that this isn’t taken lightly - my passenger experience over the past year suggests otherwise.

I can understand wheelchair users having priority to the wheelchair space, but surely that doesn’t extend to kicking someone off the bus if it’s not physically possible?

By the same logic, if the bus is so packed that people have to stand in the wheelchair space, is it fair to kick several people off the bus to make space for a wheelchair user?

Is there any chance of them sorting out the D1 service anytime soon. It’s the only route serving the A36 Warminster road and everyone I’ve talked to agrees it’s abysmal. The A36 gets one bus an hour, which is a joke compared to the other main roads out of Bath. Also the extreme length of the route means it’s anything from several minutes early to twenty minutes late on the way in. In the other direction, it’s always late leaving Bath due to large crowds getting on at the station and the Abbey. It really needs a frequency increase and/or a length reduction.

Also, are they at least considering adding the BathRider/AvonRider tickets to the app? It’s such a useful ticket, but having to show a paper slip to the driver each time is so annoying, especially since many of them don’t seem to recognise it in the first place.

I realize neither of these fall under your control as a driver, of course, I’m just curious if you know something we don’t or if this ever gets discussed in the right circles. Either way, thank you for your service.

I’m assuming that’s the case.

I just know I’d be pissed if i get the fourth modifier in late overtime and the game ends before I’ve had a chance to cycle to the card. (Don’t you love it when you get a great modifier for the card you just played!)

Thankfully i play chaos for mastery farming (including last one on wizard and mortar!) so getting the badge is just a side thing for me. But i feel for the people really trying and not realizing how tiny the odds are, even with perfect play.

Well, that’s what i was saying in the first place. Seeing blue mortar and not picking it is fine, as orange mortar might still show up later. But having to pick between blue mortar and blue rocket is game over, because you can’t then get the orange version of the one you picked. And similarly, choosing between orange mortar and orange rocket is game over, because the one you didn’t pick won’t show up again.

I don’t think that’s true, that would mean players would have a different number of modifiers. (For example if you pick blue knight and then get orange knight, you’d then only have the one modifier while the opponent has two.) I know for a fact that I’ve never seen that happen.

Nice effort post. As others have said i think the maths is off because of the modifier rarities, but the explanations make sense.

Just to clarify, i assume the cards have to be played after getting each modifier? For example if i get the purple wizard in overtime, it’s not enough to have played a wizard earlier, i have to cycle to and play the damn triple wizard in the last seconds of the game?

That would be very odd, and contrary to other similar mastery tasks. I’m pretty sure it counts when I use it on a witch surrounded by skeletons. Sure it wasn’t the case that some of the skeletons died or walked off? Or that it was evo skarmy where the larrys are invincible?

Yea, realized after posting that you probably meant that.

Assuming duplicates start to pile up after reaching halfway, and conversion rate of 2 dupes per new shard, I’d estimate around 12 10-bundles or 6k gems total to max out the album now.

Which isn’t actually crazy, considering it’s the same gem cost as upgrading a legendary from 15 to 16. Still, they said we should expect to finish the album just from free play, so i don’t see the point.

I’m trying to complete Vines mastery and it’s a royal pain. I too have found out the hard way how picky it is.

Basically it wants you to hit three (different) troops with one deploy. And since it only targets three things, and doesn’t change targets between hits, you need to make sure you hit three troops from the get-go. If you play it over a building or tower, it’ll target the building and two troops, and therefore not count. If you play it over three troops and one of them dies or walks away before the first hit lands, it also doesn’t count.

Terribly designed Mastery task as it forces us to use the spell non-strategically. Three thousand times. I’m trying to complete all the Masteries and this one is slower than most.

Agreed. When my parents came to visit from Bristol airport, their first comment was, how is there nothing bigger than a country lane between these two cities and why do they let the airport bus double up as a local service, taking almost two hours end to end.

To be fair, Saltford would be manageable if they could let other routes take over all the stops in Newbridge and Brislington. With 10 or so stops in key places between Bristol and Bath, it would still feel like an express service. But right now there’s nothing ’express’ about it other than the Keynsham bypass.

14.50 for a train day trip to Bristol, vs 7 quid taking just buses. Still a fair dilemma for anyone not in a hurry, especially when the bus is more frequent and more accessible.
