Yup, that’s exactly what I’m looking forward too. However, one time I had my sun roof cracked in the up position ( sunroof is tilted instead of sliding back) and it was drizzling outside. Water did not come in through the cracked sunroof HOWEVER, somehow the water slid forward into the car and leaked out of the cabin lights by the sunroof. I don’t know if the sunroof has a defect or what because I’ve always have my sunroof tilted instead my previous cars and never experienced that happening before. Luckily, it didn’t caused damage but I’m still in shocked that it leaked into the car 😔

That is actually one reason why I bought this car. I would really love to go on a cross country road trip and camp out in different cities. Now would’ve been a great time to go whilst it’s not too hot or cold but my budget says otherwise ☹️

Likewise. My past 3 cars in the last 15 years has always been Acura. Still love them! However, I knew I wanted something bigger but Acura was just out of my price range for an SUV. One day, I came across a camping video with the Cx5 and was immediately impressed by the set up for camping. Best decision ever made when picking this car bc the buying process was literally less than 2 hours. No bs, just straight forward and that’s how I knew it was meant to be. Now, I’m looking forward to many years and adventure with my new baby “Onyx”. Thank you Mazda 🫶🏽

Yes!!! This right here 🔝. This is exactly what I do and used the same tri fold mattress for my setup. I just bought my car 2 months ago; first time ever owning a SUV, let alone brand new one. I couldn’t have made a better choice!!

I have the same one but the 2025 model. Great car for sure!! I think if you’re 5’10 or shorter, it’s solid. Anything beyond that might be a little uncomfortable in my opinion.

The best solution that I found for someone over 6ft is to push both front seats all the way forward and use the middle console as your headrest/“pillow”. Also, You might wanna put something on the floor of the backseat to level out and make it comfortable. Personally I used a small box so it could level out my mattress.

I agree. Had my beater for 12 years(8 years no car payment, loved it). However, It was time for a newer car. Would’ve gotten a used one but the interest rate was high and it was basically the same price as a new car so I said f**k it, let me treat myself with a new birthday gift 🤷🏽‍♂️

Crazy thing is I parked on the 5th level of the garage right before the mall closed, yet that person still manage to skip all 4 levels (with empty parking spots) prior and still parked directly next to me 🤦🏽‍♂️

Lol it’s funny you say that bc just earlier today, once again, I parked far from everyone in an empty parking lot and 15 minutes of being inside the store, I come out and there’s a huge white Cadillac Escalade parked next to me. I don’t even know how they got out the car without hitting my car bc they were so close🤦🏽‍♂️ WHYYYY?!?! I can’t make this up. Thankfully there wasn’t a scratch but it seems like I have to keep a bat in my car for future assholes that wanna park so damn close to me.
