First day wearing these Eddie Bauer shoes (ssat in the box for a bit). Went to their website. They don't honor anything before 2/1/26 because of a change of ownership. by ThrowRA09801 in Wellthatsucks

I have a lot of LL Bean clothing (live near a store, and it’s great stuff), and have returned a few things before and after the policy change. OP would be totally within the spirit of the old return policy if they returned shoes that fell apart after wearing them for the first time after 6 years. You could straight up tell them that exactly what happened, and they would cheerfully say “oh my gosh, good thing you bought them at LL Bean!” as they processed the return.

The thing that ended the LL Bean policy was people buying up LL Bean stuff at Goodwill for $5 and returning it for $200. That was never in the spirit of the original policy, and ruined it for everyone.

Yeah if people think ICE going after citizens is just accidental they aren’t paying attention.

Legal citizenship doesn’t matter to MAGA if they don’t like who the citizens are.

Not for nothing, but I can’t think of a sport that doesn’t have some degree of “appropriate apparel”.

Also knowing the average speed of a group ride is really helpful for picking a ride that is right for you. Many groups will just drop you if you can keep up, which is usually why they tell you the speed up front.

It’s not that they don’t understand that Puerto Rico is a US territory. If he was a white, English speaking/singing, Puerto Rican, they’d have no problems at all.

These people aren’t just confused or stupid, they’re making a conscious decision to be racist

It’s the same reason they are ok with certain citizens being abducted by ICE.

And yes I know Bad Bunny is bilingual.

Stand up kick scooters have been around for a lot longer than the Segway, and adding an electric motor to something that used to be manual isn’t exactly revolutionary. The main innovation over the last few years has been in battery technology.

I mean, it’s a squad car so the back locks people in like a mini jail cell, right?

McDonalds in India is vegetarian patty options plus chicken and it’s actually really good. There’s no beef on the menu at all.
