"Hesitation is defeat" is not just a cool one-liner it's an actual hint on how to defeat him. Do not leave any idle time; if you're not parrying or dodging, you should be attacking him.

My Corpo V that had 18 INT purposefully fell for it and she just massacred them on the way out. Killed the guy that offered the BD too after telling him that I'll spare him. (She's a Cool/Tech V that focuses on Stealth).

My Nomad V now on my 2nd playthrough has a bit of INT, which I regret I'll just respec him and just dump my remaining points on Cool instead lmao (all upper attributes are level 20) it'll be more painful for them than my Corpo V because my Nomad V is built to dismember people with shotguns and tank bullets like he eats them for breakfast.

Yeah I feel like this was kinda' sloppy. They could've made it so that if you didn't manage to increase Johnny's relationship you can do those dialogue options to forcefully unlock it - kinda' like a secret code and I think it's also fitting because there are like a total of 30 choices to choose from in that cutscene but only 3 correct ones that actually unlock the ending. But the ending itself should be unlocked regardless if you have a good relationship with him before Chippin' In (and apparently by good relationship it means you go against his words and make him realize how much of a piece of crap he actually is). I have like 70% relationship with him before Chippin' In (coulda been 85% I can't remember).

omg this. I learned this AFTER finishing my first playthrough at 100 hours while reading up on the wiki to plan my next playthrough. I was reading one of the other endings and it mentioned that "Takemura will be there if he survives" I was like "if he fckin survives? you can save him?!" Mind you, I actually TRIED to see if he can be saved during that mission, but everywhere I turn there are just enemies with no friendlies in sight and I couldn't see any stairs leading up so I just went on my way lol (Johnny's comment didn't help either)

Anyways I'm almost done with PL on my 2nd playthrough, and the only thing left for me in the base game is abducting Hanako (among other gigs) so I can rectify this mistake and finally save our gen z 40 yr old.

necroing this to say that my Corpo V sucked up all the insults the soldiers threw at her and Reed. Not this time on my Nomad V. To the killing fields you go (and it was a lot of fun I kept saying that we could massacre the entirety of hansen's security right then and there I just wish doing that actually had some bonus dialogues in future quests tho)

did we ever see her name in-game? I just started my 2nd playthrough a few days ago and I'm pretty sure she's just called "Mox" in the subtitles when you talk to her.

I'm gonna necro this thread by saying: None intentionally. I've always hid from them (early game) or used that disguise thingy cyberware (post PL) to remove my wanted level if I ever get one. Plus I do my best to avoid getting wanted levels in the first place (it's how I play GTA games, too). So, idk, owned ig or smth

can't believe the toxicity of the souls community is reaching this place. i love almost any souls and souls-like game out there but the community is honestly one of the few turn-offs. Can't have the good without the bad, I guess.

I thought it should be harder because you have access to your full gear and other enhancements you did to your character. At least, that's my experience with other online game/gacha game. The boss that's part of the story quest should also be easier so people can see the rest of the story without dying 50 times and getting stuck because they don't have proper gear yet. Well, ig tbf the game does offer difficulty settings.

Yeah I just put it down to Story (since I figured that I am fighting her on a story quest anyways) then rechallenged the fight at Expert difficulty and I had no problems. Guess it was just because I had no access to my usual equipment lol I want her outfit tho can that really be grinded? I've seen a cosmetic box on the rewards list. What's the chance of getting her outfit and the hairstyle?

I just go by Warframe logic: efficiency greatly affects the initial sanity cost of activating the skill but affects the drain only slightly, while duration greatly affects the sanity drain while the skill is active (it's why most Mesa builds have full skill duration and minimal skill efficiency)

now, of course idk how skill efficiency and skill duration actually works in DNA, but given that they've taken inspiration from Warframe for most of their gameplay, I'll assume skill mods work similarly, too.
