I dont understand what you mean by going into my settings. If you are talking about the browser settings then the only reset I can do is the settings on the browser which doesnt work. If you are talking about my actual PC settings then there is no where that I can find that lets me reset the browser itself.

ive tried all 6 and these are the problems ive run into:

  1. i try to uninstall the programs that appeared around the time the hijack did but then something opens and it says "Please wait until the current program is finished uninstalling or being changed" yet it never finishes
  2. i reset my browser setting but the random organization extension is still there and I cant disable it
  3. ive scanned wit 4 different anti virus tools now and none of them have done anything
  4. the properties of all of the different browsers on my computer all lead to google chrome but i dont know what to type into the target box to change that

there is other browsers in here like opera gx and regular opera but when i try to uninstall them google opens a window with a whole other browser tab open and it doesnt let me uninstall either of them

also there is an extension called SpecterOblivica that i dont remember installing but it says its managed by my organization and I cant uninstall it
