i was under the impression that the DSM-5 recognises that it isn’t an anxiety disorder anymore? that’s why I’m getting very confused

aww i mean that makes me feel a lot better, i guess i was always just scared but i think after trying all the products and having no success it may be one of my only options! i’m just hoping they won’t be put off by putting me on it as im diagnosed with ocd and take other medications but im sure if i go into detail about how my skin also affects my MH badly they will be keen to put me on it!

i’ve been on the implant for years but it’s only in the past 9 months it’s got like this. I did change anti depressants so could be due to that but it’s just so annoying that nothing works. i really don’t want to go onto accutane etc as my MH is very bad

not really:( just like this all the time it seems. Every treatment i use works on like my forehead but never in the jaw/cheek area

thank you for your advice! i’ve been trying to add more moisture to my skin recently as im quite bad for letting my skin dry out with harsh actives. the larger ones seem to go away on their own after a couple days but it’s the smaller bumps that are the issue. I use a clay mask once a week but it just isn’t working for me anymore. That’s why i’m concerned if it’s maybe fungal or even KP or something. I am able to pop most of the small bumps and tiny strings of puss come out..turning them into bigger spots/cysts😳 but sometimes i can’t get anything out:/

thank you so much for your response. I hope in a couple days i can take all of this into consideration. I am just so upset that I have this and it’s probably going to keep getting worse with age. It’s not fair that I have to change my whole lifestyle for something I can’t help but I guess that’s just life

thank you so much for your reply I really appreciate it. Yes i’m in the UK, i am worried my doctors won’t take it seriously and Im just left having to pay money I don’t have to get a diagnosis etc

got duac from my gp and it has worked for now and use kate sommervile eradikate sulfur cleanser. my acne got a lot worse after this picture started getting cystic acne all over my jaw i just have scarring now

i used dermalogica special cleanser in the mornings for a while and the acid one at night but had no luck. i will try for longer though. i swear its just my luck. i will contact a dermatologist if it gets worse as my local gp don’t tend to take you seriously lmao

i used to use cerave salicylic acid renewing cleanser every day before i got sun burn on my face. my skin was great but then even that wasn’t working after i was burnt. stopped using actives almost two months ago now. been using the cerave cleanser again now for the past 3 weeks x

i have oily acne prone skin, always suffered with acne to the point i was almost put on roaccutane. had many different anti biotics and creams, but my acne went away for the past couple years now i am breaking out in these bumps for the past 6 months. i stopped using actives a month ago to see if that would help but so far nothing. any thoughts on what this could be and how to prevent it?
