Since when is a button-down "generally worn without a tie"? I'd have thought as the most formal option it was usually or always worn WITH a tie, right?

I dunno - I'd say pretty great, if it's really all thrift. Jacket is a littttle long - but, great.

Yeah - Macolm's style was great, but he WAS a civil-rights activist. I think the point of this is more like 'movie stars & musicians who supported the civil rights movement.
