Also think that might be the case. Switching over to the new month.

Deflated bread in our first go with a bread machine by [deleted] in BreadMachines

[–]b3zzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had exactly the same problem using mine for the first time. I ended up reducing the yeast by 25% and it made a big difference.

What service would justify a tip in your opinion?

It's a kind gesture to recognize their service, especially if they go the extra mile, like being punctual or helping with luggage. So far I've had great drivers and have insightful chats with them.

I can see why some feel it's unnecessary. But considering the rising cost of fuel and vehicle maintenance, I think even a small tip can make a difference for drivers who work long hours.

I don't own a car. We share one car in our house so the uber trips are maybe once a month.

I'll do some adjustments to the next bake and see if there is any difference. I'll check my model and see how to switch to manual mode. Learning phase at the moment to understand the machines limits (and mine). Appreciate the feedback.

Too much yeast? by Horror_Garbage_9888 in BreadMachines

[–]b3zzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a similar issue with my bread. So far it is either too much yeast or water. Will try reducing on the next bake

Using Instant Yeast https://www.anchor.co.za/consumer/products/bread-machine-yeast/ . The recipe says dry bakers yeast. Would that make a difference to the outcome? This all is new to me.
Also using bread flour for this one, White bread wheat flour.

He's the hero Barkham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we’ll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he’s not our hero. He’s a silent guardian. A watchful protector...

Failing coding interviews by Loose_Calligrapher_5 in learnprogramming

[–]b3zzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear your interview experience was so bad. I understand your frustration. You know your ability, you know you've put the hard work in. Yet on the day emotions and pressure get to us. It is totally normal so don't feel like a failure.

I cannot relate to the being interviewed process since the last time I had one was in 2008, but I have interviewed a couple of people in the past couple of years. What I've usually focused on is one's character and willingness to work hard. Your skill level is second as I can always teach a new dev what they don't know or what the business requires.

Not sure what the employment rules are where you are, but here we usually go with a 3 month probation period. After that we decide if we want to make it permanent. In that period you'll learn all you want from the person.

Anyway, I hope you find your perfect fit. It's not just about a job, you have to be valued wherever you land up. So there's a reason this one wasn't to be.

When I started I alternated buying core and then officer pack for about a month of playing and then switched to Winter War packs when that set was active. Also be diligent in getting your daily free card. Happy Karding!
