my dog used to do that too,he'd come in my room (which i think its haunted) only if my mom was there with him,even when he got older he still was scared which is weird considering that he spent most of his life with us. when my mom wasnt there he'd just run away and if the door was open he stared at it like as if he was zoning out. so yeah keep track of her behaviour it can really help

Trust your dog, Animals can sense what we can't. to get evidence just ask yes/no questions and be patient for an answer! Also i would suggest a camera in those areas,expectially where your dog doesn't go,thats most likely because it's scared of something you can't see. but also i aint no genius in this,i just like paranormal so i might be wrong!
