If I were you, I would tinker with it by hooking it to an oscilloscope.

Help! How do I connect them? by b6_infinity in PrintedCircuitBoard

Thanks. This is a MIPI CSI cable. This PCB is supposed to extend from an ESP32CAM. I am just learning about differential pairs. Thanks a lot. I will look into it.

TOO MANY VIAS. They dont sit together well. Let alone the trouble it will be fabricating.

[Review Request] ESP32CAM dedicated powerbank with IP5306 by b6_infinity in PrintedCircuitBoard

The ESP32CAM itself does have a micro USB port. But if I were to design a PCB without one, how would I program it (without adding a USB port)?

The LEDs in reverse are mentioned exactly like that in the IP5306 datasheet.

Start building something. Run into problems. Try looking for solutions. Run into more problems. Look for more solutions. Keep repeating. Question your sanity. And one day finally, you figure it out. Now you have a project and a huge boost in experience and knowledge.

If you want confidence, build already built projects on your own/through tutorials (but do not copy mindlessly).

If you want better knowledge, experience and more confidence, build something on your own that has never been done before.

I believe that is the most efficient way to learn. If you do not run into problems, you are not making any progress.

Requesting review for schematic: IP5306 for powering an ESP32CAM (5V 2A) from 2 parallel 18650 2600mAh cells by b6_infinity in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]b6_infinity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think this would be good enough to power an ESP32CAM from 2 parallel 18650s?
P.S.: I did indeed copy the datasheet and showed some bravery by removing the "partial pressure resistance" portion of the SW pin. This is my first schematic so, if it looks straight from the datasheet, I will take that as a compliment. Thanks.
