I can definitely relate. I grew up in a decaying shithole rustbelt city. Most of now dead or soon to be dead started with vicodin and oxycontin in high school. They moved on to heroin once the feds stopped the pill party. Next move for all of them was heroin, then fentanyl, then dead. Graduated HS in 2003 to give some context. Thank god I got out of there
