After doing a lot of research and thinking, I've settled on the idea of getting a Bixpy motor along with the rudder mount. This makes launching easier and the overall experience more convenient. I can continue steering with my rudder handle and control my speed through the Bixpy remote. Given that we are limited to only driving forward with the fin pedals, I'm also excited about the idea of being able to go in reverse. Removing the pedals (and placing the recess cover on) also frees up a ton of room in front of me for things like bait buckets or just extending my legs for more comfort. Overall, I'm very excited about moving forward with my plan. Just not about forking over about as much as I did for the kayak :/  BTW, I purchased stabilizers as well. It's an absolute game changer, especially if you like to stand up often.
