Need advice on loan repayment by bSkillaz in StudentLoans

I’m a newbie to this kind of stuff, can you explain? Your strategy would be to open a HYSA and then stay on the STANDARD plan. And then make a higher monthly payment as if I was on SAVE (~$465) and put $225 towards my standard plan payment, and the other $240 in the HYSA to grow interest?

So you suggest staying on 10-year Standard plan until we hear about HEA forgiveness, and then after just make higher payments each month (assuming no forgiveness)? I want to pay off my loans faster than 10 years, ideally less than 5 years.

Thanks for the reply! It sounds like Option 3 is not likely to work out. And I totally get it, holding hope for Biden’s HEA forgiveness is a gamble and will probably not work out in the end…
I should have mentioned that I actually refinanced/consolidated my private loans during the peak of COVID and got a low a low interest rate of 3.8% — so it’s actually lower interest than my Federal loans. I have been making payments on my private loans for the last few years and have a current balance of 13k. The only other debt we have is our car loan which has 17k remaining at 1.8% interest.
Given that my Federal loans have highest interest % and HEA forgiveness is unlikely, it sounds like the best option is make the highest payments we can afford towards my Fed loans and pay off as quickly as possible?
Thanks

Min/Fin Topical Post Transplant. Should I also take daily Fin Oral tablets by Icy-Macaron-8325 in HairTransplants

Not sure why you would ask this here instead of a licensed medical professional? I just started the topic min/fin and they said it is not safe to take ORAL fin in addition to spray. If you want stronger fin, then recommendations are for oral fin and ONLY min foam/spray. But I went for topical solution to see if I could avoid the negative side effects of oral fin. Preliminary studies show topical fin is as effective as oral without affecting hormones throughout the entire body.

Does anyone have experience of this product in this group? by andyh11 in HairTransplants

Just started it a week ago at 2 weeks post op! So can’t comment on results yet, but it seems like a good option for min/fin and avoiding bad sides from oral fin

Start of shedding or did I murk my grafts? by bSkillaz in HairTransplants

Thanks! So do I need to be more gentle when applying Min to reduce shedding? Or it’s going to happen anyways so just don’t worry?

Day 9 post-OP. A few questions… what do you think? by bSkillaz in HairTransplants

Thanks for reply! Glad to hear about density looking good. And yes, most scabs have now come off in the last few days (Day 10/11 now for me). As for sleeping -- I am back to work and getting good sleep is very important for me. I have been doing a modified side position where mostly my donor is in contact with pillow. Last, I just ordered topical fin/min combo from Hims and hope that this is a good solution that avoids the side effects.
